SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE

St. Peter will change its regular worship hours on Sunday, May 25. Sunday worship will be held at 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Sunday school and Sunday Bible study will not meet during the summer months, although Thursday Bible study will continue through the summer at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday Lights worship time will change from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28. If you are going to be out of town on the weekend, plan to worship with us on Wednesday evening.

MEN'S GOLF OUTING

ST. PETER MEN’S GOLF OUTING       The 3rd annual St. Peter Men’s Golf Outing will be held at Randall Oaks Golf Club on Binnie Road., West Dundee, IL, on June 18, 2008. The first tee time will be at 1:00 p.m. Cost of the event is $48.00 which includes green fee with cart and course competitions such as longest drive, closest to the pin, and longest putt. A sign-up sheet is located on the information table; sign up individually or as a twosome or foursome. Contact Tony Mariano with any questions, 847.669.1637. Payment deadline is June 1.

STEPHEN MINISTRY

Our new training sessions will begin May 22, 2008.  Yes, yes, we thought we were starting in January, but God wasn't ready for us.  We are eager to start this new session and would love to have those of you who were contemplating Stephen Ministry to join us for a thorough training program which will equip you not only for Stephen Ministry but life in general.  Please feel free to ask questions of any of our Stephen Ministers (they wear a special badge to church), or contact Helen Kuhfahl (847) 428-6712 or Donna Smith (847) 669-3802.
